First I have to say, the video podcast -- YAWN. Maybe I shouldnt have watched it after lunch, but the ninja was lame.
I think podcasts overall are excellent tools and its a great outlet for a wide variety of people and interests.
Audiobooks also are excellent for some people. I know many of my customers who think they are indespensible. For me though, I cannot drive and listen to a book. My mind likes to picture the story and I would either be in an accident or cause one if I were listening to a book in the car. Also, audiobooks read much too slow for me.
My kids love the MP3 player I got for Christmas, so maybe I'll actually get to use this one for my music! The cool thing is, my kids (both boys 9 and 11) are hearing my favorite music and getting into it.
This has been great and I plan on continuing to use this blog for my random thoughts. Besides, I still have a lot of jokes to publish. As they say, I got a million of them and at least three are good.

I agree about the audiobooks reading too slow. That's why if I am going to listen to an audiobook, I go with playaways because they have a setting to increase the reading speed. Sometimes the fastest setting is even too fast for me!
